This is a full Michael Jackson show shot in Japan very early on in the tour for Bad in 1987. At this point in time, the setlist only featured two cuts from that record – “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” and “Bad” at the very end. The show is mostly focused on material from Thriller and the Jackson 5. He’s at the pinnacle of his craft here, and it’s amazing to see.

Intense from the first second of the performance. Does anyone even have this kind of presence or work this hard at performance anymore?
